Perrault’s Trucking began business in February 1978 as a partnership between brothers, Wayne and David Perrault. In 1984 it became a sole-proprietorship owned by Wayne. Ten years later the sole-proprietorship became Perrault’s Trucking & Dirt Service, Inc.
The company fleet consists of 12 Mack dump trucks. Excavation work at our pits is handled by 4 Volvo trackhoes and 2 Komatsu dozers.
Perrault’s Trucking has been a member of the West Baton Rouge Parish Chamber of Commerce since 1988. The company is also very active in the community for the past 30 years and has sponsored numerous and varied sports teams from Brusly, Addis, Port Allen, Plaquemine and Redemptorist High School. Brusly Middle School was adopted by the company in 1992 and employees have participated in career day, the science Explorium and LEAP Camp. Perrault’s Trucking has also sponsored honor roll bumper stickers, a student-run campus store, “Student of the Month” t-shirts, the Homework Hotline and the Positive Behavior Program at the school as well as purchased materials for all subject areas over the 17 years that they have been adopter of Brusly Middle School.
Other community involvement includes Habitat for Humanity, West Baton Rouge Parish Foundation for Academic Excellence, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Feast on the Levee, American Veterans Traveling Tribute, Louisiana Special Olympics, West Baton Rouge Parish Fair Association, March of Dimes, St. John the Baptist Food Bank, Port Allen High School Washington DC trip, West Baton Rouge Parish Teacher of the Year, Brusly High School Wresting Room Expansion, American Cancer Society Relay for Life and West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office Burglary Intelligence Program.
